Governing in our Legal Landscape by Steven Moe

In November 2022, Christian Savings held a national conference “Building the Church for Today and Tomorrow” where the topics from seven speakers focused on how governance of churches and charities can be promoted and practiced well.

This is a recording from one of the seven sessions we held.

Governance comes with responsibility. Effective organisations are governed by people who understand their obligations and the legal landscape in which they operate. How do everyday trustees, officers, directors and elders realise what they need to know and when to ask for help? This session will also cover the best legal structures to impact positively and how they relate to the Church.
